Working as a Supply Teacher for Flourish Education allows you to work where and when you want - giving you a great work-life balance! For a day-to-day supply teacher role, you will not be expected to plan lessons or attend staff meetings however you will be expected to:
- Deliver lessons and work set out by the regular Science Teacher
- Create an engaging and motivating learning environment
- To manage classroom behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
- Support and monitor student’s progression in lessons
- When required, mark students’ work in line with the school’s marking policy at the end of every day.
To apply for this Science Teacher role, you will need:
- QTS - Qualified Teacher status in Science (ECT’s, formerly known as NQT’s, are encouraged to apply)
- Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School as a Science Teacher
- Excellent subject knowledge of Science in Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4) is essential
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- A strong school reference from your recent employer
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
