SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a supply SEN teaching assistant to work in a mainstream 2-form entry primary school in Wolverhampton rated ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted report. The school are looking to recruit a Teaching assistant until the end of the academic year with the potential to go permanent. This would be on a 1:1 basis working with children with various different SEN needs.

This supply SEN Teaching assistant would start ASAP and would be working within a good staff team who are supportive and always work as a team to aim to be the best they can possibly be. Flourish education have a long-standing relationship with the school and has received regular positive feedback when a candidate has been in whether its long term or day to day cover.

The Supply SEN teaching assistant would need to have previous experience working with children in Primary school and be committed to a full-time long-term position until the end of the academic year.

To apply for this Supply SEN Teaching assistant role you will need the following:
· Qualified Teaching Assistant level 2 or 3 qualification.
· Experience working in Primary schools
· Commitment to a long-term post
· DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
· Minimum of 2 good references required.

Responsibilities for the Supply SEN Teaching assistant role:
· To support the class teacher within everyday activities
· To support the children within the class
· To work closely with the class teacher
· Of the safety of the children

This school is based in the Bushbury area and is commutable from areas such as Tettenhall, Cannock, Willenhall and provides on site parking for all staff.
