Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching assistant to work in a Primary School located in Bartley Green, Birmingham. The school want to recruit a TA to work full time in their reception class. Our client is a Primary school who value a supportive staff team who work collaboratively to instil confidence and independence in in learners.
Responsibilities as a reception Teaching Assistant will include working alongside the class teacher, supporting students in completing their work. Preparing resources, maintaining good behaviour, and minimising disruptions. The school requires a Teaching Assistant who is committed and uses initiative to help where required.
This is a full-time Teaching Assistant role and is to start immediately and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Minimum Level 2 Qualification
- Experience working in primary schools and or nursery settings.
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum
- The ability to contribute to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
- To be able to work effectively and efficiently alongside the class teacher.
- Empathetic and supportive towards students and staff
