Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with recent experience in a UK Primary School?

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary school in Hereford, to join their team on a part-time basis (5 mornings per week, from 8.45am – 1.00pm) The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED, and aims to provide a caring and safe learning environment for children to become ‘confident, resilient and curious’.The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a Year One class.

The role is to provisionally to continue until the Summer holidays. Responsibilities will include delivering small group interventions, hearing readers, and working with pupil’s on an individual basis. An empathetic, patient and caring approach is essential. The ideal candidate will seek to form positive relationships with pupils and families, instilling a love of learning and building pupil’s confidence.

You must have an in depth knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, and be willing to commit to a long-term position. The school are looking for a flexible and committed Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working within KS1
  • Committed to a long-term post (Provisionally until the end of the Summer Term)

This Teaching Assistant opportunity is located in Leominster, and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas including Hereford, Malvern and Ledbury. The school has an onsite carpark, and is easily accessible via public transport.
