About The Role

Flourish Education are currently working with a two-form entry First School located on the outskirts of Redditch. The school are looking for a Year 1 class teacher start after Christmas and run through until the end of the academic year on a maternity cover.

The school is known for its friendly working and learning environment and the positive feedback the staff have had at school. The school is very popular with parents and has recently been graded ‘Good’ from OFSTED.

The school are looking for a candidate with experience of working in Key Stage 1 to take on the Year 1 class on a full time basis and run through until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will have good behaviour management and previous experience with Year 1.

To apply to this role you will need the following

·1  Experience working with Primary School children

·2  Qualified Teacher Status

·3  Teaching experience in Key Stage 1

·4  Be enthusiastic about working with children

·5  Good behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

·1  Plan, mark and assess work for the Year 1 class

·2  Work in partnership with the teaching assistant

·3  Manage behaviour effectively.
