SEN Teacher

Job Description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a reception teacher to work with a class of SEN children in an “outstanding” ofsted nursery based in the Wolverhampton area. This role would be full-time Monday to Friday with the role potentially being permanent by July.

This role would be working with 8 students in reception that have Autism and additional needs. Working closely with the SENCO to support the EHCP process. This classroom is well resourced, has a strong supportive staff team and an opportunity to develop their own skills through ongoing CPD.

This role will be starting after Easter half term and is open to experienced teachers and ECT’s.

The responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

⦁ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECTs would are encouraged to apply for this role.
⦁ You would be required to attend necessary meetings.
⦁ Working hours would be 8:30am - 4pm.
⦁ This supply teacher position is starting in January and is expected to continue to the end of the academic year with the potential to go permanent.
⦁ Build relationships with the pupil, parents and staff.
⦁ Follow school policy regarding behaviour management and safeguarding.
⦁ Skills and experience required for this Reception Supply Teacher role.
⦁ Up-to-date EYFS curriculum knowledge.
⦁ To plan and deliver creative and exciting lessons to the SEN Reception class.
⦁ To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant.
⦁ To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils in line with the school's policy.
⦁ Experience working with SEN students.

⦁ £144 - £170 day rate which equates to up to £33,150 per annum (based on working 5 days a week for a full school year)
