Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a local partnership school in Dudley. This role would be a part-time Reception Teaching Assistant position, there would be some flexibility as to the nature of the part-time assignment, this could look like mornings, afternoons or up to 3 days a week.
Responsibilities will include supporting the class teacher, encouraging children with day-to-day activities, carrying out small group interventions and assisting with the preparation of resources.
This Teaching Assistant vacancy is a part-time flexible position working Morning or Afternoons from Monday to Friday or up to 3 days a week starting after ASAP and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.
Required skills and experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Level 2 or above in a relevant Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (LSA) qualification.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Primary Schools (preferred if you have previously worked in a Reception or Early Years class) within the UK.
- Confident conducting small group interventions, and 1:1 observation on children within the classroom.
- To be able to work effectively and efficiently alongside the class teacher.
